Commenting on the launch, Elaine Carey, Sales & Marketing Director at Three said: “As a brand we like to push boundaries, keeping our advertising and marketing campaigns fresh, and above all relevant to the target market. What better way to celebrate the new direction of our brand identity, with the incorporation of strong and distinctive illustrations,  than by building relationships with some of the most talented and creative people in the country?. We encourage every aspiring artist and illustrator in the country to go to and enter the competition.”

Illustrator BRENB continued  “When Three approached me to become involved I was very impressed by their two-tiered approach and vision for this campaign. On the one hand their commitment to the commissioning of the best Irish professional illustration is very welcome but is equally matched by this exciting competition to support the next generation of creatives. This will be the perfect platform for anyone with creative potential to take that leap into the world of commercial illustration. I’m delighted to play my part in helping shape the look-and-feel of their future advertising campaigns but equally to support and nurture the talent this competition will no doubt unearth.

All entries will be available to view on from today (1st March), with the winner announced w/c 28th March 2011.
