Dublin, 16th May 2012 Three, Ireland’s largest high speed network, today announces that for the first time ever, due to customer demand, it will begin taking pre-orders, ahead of any other operator, for the new Samsung Galaxy S III online on three.ie and in stores from 9am this Friday 18th May.

Since it’s unveiling in London on Friday 4th May the much-anticipated device which Samsung Electronics say is so intuitive that it can recognise your own voice and understand your intention, is in high demand with Three customers, and already the mobile operator has been inundated with queries surrounding Samsung’s latest smartphone ahead of its scheduled May 30th release date.

Some promising features of the Samsung Galaxy S IIII include a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display, whilst an 8MP camera and a 1.9MP front camera offer a variety of intelligent camera features and face recognition related options so you can capture all moments easily and instantly. The Samsung Galaxy S III is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and full of intuitive technology, delivering a uniquely personalised mobile experience.

Three, who earlier this year became the only network to offer “All you can eat” data, giving unlimited internet usage with no excess data charges* across prepay, pay monthly and Flexifix customers, will reveal more details on the Samsung Galaxy S III, including price plans, over the coming weeks.

Commenting on Three’s decision to be the first operator to take pre-orders for the new Samsung Galaxy S III, Sales and Marketing Director, Elaine Carey at Three, said We have seen a phenomenal level of interest in Samsung’s latest offering. As soon as the new S III was announced in London earlier this month it was evident the Irish customer wanted this device. At Three we are committed to meeting our customers wants and needs and we’re anticipating a lot of pre-orders before May 30th. I’m confident that, as Ireland’s largest high speed network combined with our ‘all you can eat’ data offering, Three is the best network for the Samsung Galaxy S III.”
