Sony Ericsson and 3 today unveiled the stylish new T707, the latest Sony Ericsson mobile phone which will be available exclusively on 3, Ireland’s fastest growing mobile network. MTV’s shining star, Laura Whitmore, was on hand to launch the stunning Sony Ericsson T707 which boasts innovative features such as eye-catching pulsating light effects, which can be personalised to identify callers, and unique gesture control.
The chic T707 truly interacts with the user – it lights up when you receive a call and you can personalise the light settings to each of your friends, so you always know who is calling. Thanks to gesture control technology, if you are too busy to answer a call you can simply mute the call with a wave of your hand over the phone – the same gesture can be used to snooze the alarm.
Available in a trio of colours to suit every mood – Lucid Blue, Rose Pink and Mysterious Black – the T707’s sleek clam shell design radiates glamour. Packing in more extras than even the smallest of handbags, the T707 spec includes an FM radio and Bluetooth™ audio streaming to keep you entertained on the go. You can also download music, games and ringtones at the touch of a button with Sony Ericsson’s PlayNow™ technology.
The HTML web browser will allow you to upload photos from the 3.2 megapixel camera to your personal social networking site to ensure your friends can keep track of you wherever you are. The T707 also features a Facebook application and YouTube Uploader.
“At Sony Ericsson we believe that the stylish phones we produce should not lack in impressive features,” said Russell Keating, Marketing Manager, Sony Ericsson Ireland. “People may initially be attracted to the T707 for its sleek design, innovative light effects and hidden external OLED screen.
However, when they see how easy it is to take pictures and video and upload them directly to Facebook and YouTube, they will be amazed. With a music player that supports album art and Bluetooth stereo streaming, the T707 is the complete entertainment package,” he added.
Commenting on the launch, Rachel Channing Communications Director at 3 said: “We love this new, sleek little clamshell – it’s packed full of cool features that are fun and functional – we expect our customers to love it too.”
