Ryder Cup Star announces further details of the 3 Irish Open Pink Friday
Graeme McDowell was joined by local Baltray club kids to announce further details of the 3 Irish Open Pink Friday. The special charity day tees off on Friday 15th May to raise support and awareness of Breast Cancer in Ireland.
Players, caddies, tees and tents will be converted to pink for the day and spectators are encouraged to join 3’s rosy festivities and don something pink for the day to support the Marie Keating Foundation. The Marie Keating Foundation Mobile Unit will be located in the tented village throughout the tournament, with a medical advisor on hand to answer any questions or concerns in relation to breast cancer.
The 3 Clubhouse will be transformed into a pink paradise for the day, where ladies can enjoy complimentary pampering sessions from the Powder Room Girls. Xpose’s Glenda Gilson will present luxury prizes for the best pink family, hottest pink couple, most handsome pink male, prettiest pink female and the most pinkified golf club! Exclusive pink goodie bags will also be given out throughout the day.
David Riley, Head of Communications at 3, said, “I am encouraging everyone to support the Marie Keating Foundation and wear Pink at the 3 Irish Open on Pink Friday, 15th of May. It is set to be a really great family day out with special prizes to be won and the opportunity to watch Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club perform live after play finishes. We invite everyone to come along to the 3 Irish Open at Baltray and enjoy the fun.”
Tickets to the 3 Irish Open Pink Day cost just €20 with donations going to the Marie Keating Foundation. In addition, 3 are donating €10 to the Marie Keating Foundation from every sale of its Pay Monthly price plans from the 28th of March through to the 3 Irish Open weekend.
