The 3 Irish Open returns to Killarney Golf and Fishing Club for the first time in 18 years. Nick Faldo won on both previous visits to Killarney when he won the title in 1991 and 1992, before completing the hat-trick in 1993 at Mount Juliet.
The return to the picturesque Co. Kerry venue also coincides with a new summer date when the eyes of the golfing world will focus on the region just four weeks before the European Ryder Cup Team is decided.
