3, Ireland’s largest high speed network, officially opened a new Business Customer Care Centre in Waterford today. Customer Relations Director, Lanna O’Reilly, was joined by local GAA players Shane O’Sullivan and Noel Connors to celebrate the opening.
The new care centre caters for 3’s fast-growing business customer base, providing assistance for customer enquiries and technical support. Since 3 entered the SME business market in 2008, thousands of business customers have availed of the company’s value-for-money price plans and innovative services. Today’s announcement underlines 3’s position as Ireland’s fastest growing mobile operator, market leader in mobile broadband and Ireland’s largest high speed network.

3 has invested over €600 million in rolling out its high speed and high capacity network in Ireland to date, with ongoing investment as part of the National Broadband Scheme which 3 was awarded in December 2008. In a world first, 3 recently announced that it had upgraded its network using Nokia Siemens Networks I-HSPA technology which delivers an enhanced customer experience for both voice and data customers nationwide. 3 also announced it plans to trial speeds of up 42 Mbps later this year.
