Thursday 4th July 2013 – Three, Ireland’s largest high speed network*, today launches a direct-to-bill service for customers purchasing apps on Google Play™. Three is the first mobile operator in Ireland to offer integrated services with Google Play to its customers.

The new service allows Three customers, wishing to purchase any mobile apps, books, games or music on Google Play, to pay by using their Prepay credit or adding it to their monthly bill. Having completed an initial registration process, a mobile app can be bought with only a few clicks. This will make it easier than ever for customers to benefit from Three’s All You Can Eat Everything and get the most from their handset.

Speaking about the launch, Elaine Carey, Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We are delighted to be the first mobile operator in Ireland to launch a direct-to-bill service for customers purchasing apps, books, games or music on Google Play.
