3, Ireland’s largest high speed network, today announced the opening of a new 3Store in Roscommon. The fifth of 28 new 3Stores which will be opening across the country and creating 90 new retail jobs nationwide this year. 3 is investing nearly €5 million increasing its retail footprint with eight “own stores” and 20 independently-owned operations under the 3 brand. The new 3Store in Roscommon is ideally located at 4 Harrison Centre, Roscommon Town, owned and managed by Darragh and Jackie Valentine.

 

The new retail outlets will significantly extend 3’s reach across the country and will complement the existing 22 3Stores and 200 independent retailers which serve 3’s growing customer base. The retail expansion programme has been designed to increase 3’s retail footprint to maximum effect. This commitment by 3 underlines its position as Ireland’s fastest growing mobile operator, market leader in mobile broadband and Ireland’s largest high speed network.

The 28 stores consists of eight 3Stores and 20 independently-owned operations. The majority of the independently-owned stores will be opened with existing retail partners but 3 is also looking for interested applicants with a strong track record in the telecommunications retail sector. The 20 selected locations are all close to the National Broadband Scheme (NBS) areas which 3 is currently rolling out.
